Lake District Music runs a Spring Concert Series (Feb to May) and a huge Summer Festival from 26 July to 4 August 2024.
Each summer some of the finest international classical artists arrive in the Lake District to play in stunning surroundings.
Alongside the important work of our festival team, trustees and donors, the amazing contribution of our volunteers helps keep the festival running smoothly.
Each year dozens of supporters generously donate their time and energy to help bring fantastic music to the Lake District and nurture the next generation of talented musicians.
We could benefit with more people lending a hand with publicity for our spring concerts as well as the main festival.
From supporting our web of logistics by making sure artists are in the right place at the right time, to helping make sure our performances and events run smoothly by ushering during the summer festival and spring series, our volunteers are a core part of the Lake District Music family.
They truly are wonderful ambassadors, spreading the word about our events through personal networks and distributing flyers and posters. There’s nothing quite like the team spirit on show when everyone digs in to send the brochures out and share the news with our audiences.
