Tom Poster’s first visit to LDSM brings gems from the classical and 20th century, punctuated by 2015 miniatures by Cheryl Frances-Hoad as an introduction to her new work tomorrow morning. Inspired by the bicentenary of Clara Schumann (see Thu 1st), the LDSM 2019 programme features some of the many fine female composers from Clara’s time to the present. See also Tom’s masterclass and chamber concert tomorrow.
