Currently completing her Masters at the Royal Academy of Music, Eliza brings a programme ranging from Beethoven‘s final instrumental work with piano to Prokofiev‘s late masterpiece for Slava Rostropovich. En route she will show the second string to her bow – as a mezzo – in Peteris Vasks‘ ethereal work, included to mark Latvia‘s centenary. Bridge‘s WW1 Sonata tinged by Brahms, and three affecting lullabies by Mark-Anthony Turnage, complete our morning.
