Our annual partnership with this popular Hawkshead summer concert series presents Festival Début artists in this idyllic church on the hill. Both Schumann’s Fairy tale Pictures and Clarke’s Sonata take images from literature as their inspiration: the world of the Brothers Grimm and the poetry of Alfred de Musset.
