A screening of Dreyer's 1928 silent film La Passion de Jeanne d'Arc (96') with a live performance of 15th century sacred and secular vocal music to amplify the powerful portrayal of Joan's trial and execution and provide a unique and evocative accompaniment. The Orlando Consort brings an added dimension to this landmark film, which regularly appears in lists of the top ten greatest films ever made.
