'The Škampas' former leader Pavel Fisher writes music which proudly presents his beloved folk music alongside more traditional classical idioms. It is immediate and engaging. We look forward to this third work to be premiered at LDSM as much as we do to the quartet's collaboration with cellist Christoph Richter in Schubert's string quintet. A wonderful programme in our final weekend of the festival.
