Christoph Richter, one of the most sought-after cellists in Europe, rekindles the partnership with Carole Presland from 2009. We are delighted that he is joining the LDSM family once again, in a performance which includes the infrequently-heard Strauss cello sonata, and an even rarer performance of a sonata by Ethel Smyth - an active Suffragette and one of Britain's foremost female composers.
