After training as a chorister at King’s College Cambridge, Benedict Williams was a music scholar at Oundle School, and graduated from the University of York with a First Class degree. He has recently graduated from the RAM with a Masters in early keyboards and a Professional Diploma with distinction in continuo playing & directing. At the RAM he was awarded the Nancy Nuttall Early Chamber Music Prize. In his duo with Flora Curzon he is the joint recipient of the RAM Patrons’ Award for 2018/19. As a keyboard player he has performed in the UK, Europe and North & South America and worked with a variety of ensembles and festivals including Ryedale Festival Opera, The Sixteen and the OAE Experience Scheme. As a solo keyboard player he has performed the WF Bach F minor harpsichord concerto in the UK & United States, and Vivaldi’s Double Concerto for violin & organ with Rachel Podger at her Brecon Baroque Festival.
