Young String Venture Intermediate & Advanced Course encourages students to extend both their leadership and teamworking skills through chamber music. Time devoted to chamber music activities develops students' musicality and self-confidence.
Instilling good rehearsal technique
Any professional musician will tell you how important it is to develop good rehearsal and practice technique. Experienced tutors facilitate practice sessions with students themselves taking increasing responsibility for negotiating creative exchanges leading to performance.
Strengthening core skills
Orchestral playing, Dalcroze Eurhythmics and technique sessions are scheduled to assist students with the musical skills they need to perform to the best of their abilities.
