Patrons of Lake District Summer Music
Becoming a Patron or Benefactor
The Patrons of Lake District Summer Music, inaugurated in 1985, was formed to support the aims & objectives of LDSM in the provision of a uniquely integrated Festival & Summer School combining Performance & Education. The Patrons Scholarship Fund enables talented young musicians to attend the Summer School, benefiting from international teachers & performance opportunities. Patrons of LDSM benefit from:
- Priority booking for the festival.
- Each member may purchase as many tickets for each event as desired during the priority period.
- Patrons' Concerts in winter, spring and summer combine social evenings with buffet suppers and young artists in attractive venues.
- Arranged visits to opera season at The Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester.
The Society also has a Benefactors category of membership to help LDSM to plan ahead with confidence, particularly for activities to improve both the Festival and the Summer School.
