Gould Piano Trio replace Steven Osborne at short notice

With deep regret we have to announce that owing to illness Steven Osborne has cancelled his engagements with Lake District Summer Music International Festival. The concert now scheduled on Thursday 4 August at the Lakes Hall, Troutbeck Bridge, will be given by the distinguished Gould Piano Trio: Lucy Gould (violin), Alice Neary (cello) and Benjamin Frith (piano).
Their exciting programme opens with the evocative Shostakovich Piano Trio in E minor, Op.67, and is followed by Tchaikovsky's great romantic Piano Trio, in A minor, Op.50.
