Rising Star 2

Mizuka Kano piano

Haydn Variations in F minor,
Hob.XVII:6
Beethoven Sonata in A, Op.101
Mendelssohn Five Songs without Words
Mendelssohn Prelude and Fugue in F minor, Op.35 No.5
Schumann Arabeske, Op.18
Schumann Humoreske, Op.20

Another double international competition victor. Mizuka Kano will be creating something of a record at LDSM! She is appearing for the second time as a Rising Star, having won, in 2008, the Robert Schumann International Competition held only every four years in Zwickau. She actually made her LDSM début as the winner of the Viotti Competition two years ago. We are especially delighted to welcome her back...a young pianist with an exciting destiny.
