This Romanian-Israeli-British violinist is widely sought after for her recitals and concerto performances around the world. She is partnered by the eminent pianist John Lenehan, recitalist and recording artist, whose versatility is well known to Channel 4 viewers.

Music for harp, flute and viola brings together distinguished performers in works of particular beauty and timbre. Debussy in the grip of ill-health and bothered by the war completed only three of the six sonatas he had planned. This work completes the strand of the Last Sonatas of Debussy.

LDSM’s Quartet-in-Residence is joined by the distinguished Kathleen Ferrier winner, Wendy Dawn Thompson, to perform Respighi’s Il Tramonto in a beautiful, Monteverdi-inspired, but passionately romantic setting of Shelley’s poem The Sunset. Framed by two of the greatest works of the quartet repertoire, this concert marks the centrepoint of our International Festival.
