LDSM's International Festival is an annual presentation of a 17-day Festival programme uniting world-established musicians and the young professionals of our International Summer Music Academy. With chamber music at the heart of LDSM, festival programmes cover a wide spectrum of music, offering early music, contemporary music, opera, music theatre, and solo recitals.

Music from a Foreign Land explores the music and musicians of different cultures through school-based and community workshops and performances.

4x4 enables audiences to hear contemporary music as it is being created. An important legacy of the residency programme are works premiered at future LDSM International Festivals. Look out for a new work by Philip Cooke in August 2011.

In addition to these major programmes, there is a regular Winter/Spring series of New Generation Concerts promoted by our Patrons of LDSM Society and our collaboration with Milapfest in a Music India series.
