The Benefits of Young String Venture

Come together with other young musicians from across the UK. Many players return each year, but we're always delighted to welcome new friends of all abilities, from beginners right through to Grade 8!

Music for life: Our aims

The accent of this non-residential course is on enhancing musical skills and widening horizons. Experience the joy of playing with others in trios, quartets, and larger ensembles.

Team-working, self-discipline and concentration are skills needed in everyday life and are just some of the benefits young players absorb in making music together.

Students gain a real sense of achievement performing in one of the end-of-course showcase concerts as part of a top UK music festival.
