Lake District Summer Music’s International Festival & Academy is a well-established UK musical event held at the height of the summer in and around Kendal and Ambleside. It holds a unique position in its annual presentation of a Festival programme which unites world-established musicians both performing and working with professionals at the start of their careers from the residential International Summer Music Academy. With chamber music at the heart of LDSM, festival programmes typically cover a wide spectrum of music, offering early music, contemporary music, opera, music theatre, and solo recitals. We seek to fill a new post to work with the Artistic Director and Executive Chair to devise, negotiate and organise all aspects of Lake District Summer Music.

To apply, please e-mail your CV with a covering letter to the Company Secretary Colin Reynolds, at colgillreynolds@gmail.com, before noon on Friday 26th September. We anticipate that interviews will take place in Kendal in early October 2014 and the selected candidate would start as soon as possible after completion of the appointment process.
